HAMBURG, Mich. – A river flood warning has been issued for Livingston County until 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7.
According to the National Weather Service , the warning is issued for Huron River near Hamburg, where minor flooding is occurring. The flood stage is reported to be about 6.5 feet, and the river is expected to gradually fall into next week and below the flood stage by Thursday.

NWS advises that motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or through flooded areas.
