Dozens injured in bowling bus crash on Detroit’s west side

5 transported to hospitals while many other hurt

DETROIT – Multiple people were injured in a bowling bus crash Tuesday night on Detroit’s west side.

The crash occurred on West Chicago and Schaefer Highway on April 4, when a bowling alley on wheels was hit by another vehicle before taking off.

Officials say a couple of dozen people got injured, with five people being transported to Metro Detroit hospitals. Medical officials were on the scene taking care of the other individuals who were injured, as well.
