New brewery, restaurant set to open in Downtown Farmington

Food and beer are 100% gluten free

FARMINGTON, Mich. – A new brewery and restaurant is set to open this weekend in Downtown Farmington.

Heights Brewing, established in 2021, is opening its first taproom and restaurant on Farmington Road, just south of Grand River, in the busy Downtown Farmington district.

Owned by Ryan Kavanagh and Shawn Macdonell, also local residents, Heights will offer “naturally gluten-free beer and food options at the taproom, making a wide variety of delicious options available in a safe and healthy way for those with Celiac Disease and other digestive ailments.” Everything on the menu is 100% gluten free.

The grand opening will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, with a special menu that includes BBQ and other tasty snacks. They will be open Monday, and Wednesday thru Sunday at 23621 Farmington Road.
