The Detroit Jazz Festival has unveiled its exclusive lineup during a captivating live-stream preview event.

DETROIT – The Detroit Jazz Festival has unveiled its exclusive lineup during a captivating live-stream preview event.

The event included live performances from the 2024 Artist-In-Residence Brian Blade, The Fellowship Bankd, and the One-World Jazz Orchestra, a collaboration between the Berklee Global Jazz Institute and Wayne State University’s Jazz program on Wednesday (April 10).

The preview event was a thrilling glimpse into the highly anticipated new Gretchen C. Valade Jazz Center (CGVJC) on the vibrant campus of Wayne State University.

The CGVJC is scheduled to open to the public during the fall season.

The Detroit Jazz Festival will be held downtown from Aug. 20-Sept. 2 (Labor Day weekend.)
