Missing Detroit twins found in hotel room with 2 men after monthlong disappearance

Twins have been missing since March 8

DETROIT – The search for two 14-year-old twin sisters ended inside an Allen Park hotel room with two men.

The twins had been missing from their Detroit home for over a month.

Police say they were called to the Comfort Inn in Allen Park, where they recognized the twins.

Officials say they have arrested one of the men in his 30s, but the case of how the vulnerable girls ended up at the hotel is being unraveled, as well as what they’ve gone through over the past month.

Allen Park police had their bodycams rolling when they discovered the girls inside the hotel room with two men in their 30s.

“I know who you guys are, and I know who’s looking for you,” said an officer.

The girls willingly left their home in Detroit on March 8 for the second time.

“You don’t know me, so stop acting like you do,” said one of the twins.

They didn’t want to leave the men they were with inside the hotel—men who are old enough to know that keeping two missing 14-year-olds in a room is illegal.

The one man was arrested for harboring missing children as well as fraud, as the credit card used to book their motel room was stolen.

How the girls ended up with the men is now what’s under investigation.
