Disagreement at Port Huron bar leads to stabbing

28-year-old Kimball Township man expected to make full recovery

PORT HURON, Mich. – A disagreement at a bar in Port Huron led to a stabbing on Tuesday.

Police said a 41-year-old Port Huron man and a 28-year-old Kimball Township man got into an altercation Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the City Limits Tavern on Connor Street in Port Huron.

The 41-year-old man left the bar and returned with a knife, officials said. He got into another fight with the 28-year-old and stabbed him multiple times before running away.

The 28-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He is expected to make a full recovery.

The 41-year-old man was arrested near the bar and taken to the St. Clair County Intervention Center. He’s expected to be arraigned on a charge of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm.
