Man killed in drive-by shooting on Detroit’s east side Victim was in his 20s
DETROIT – A man in his 20s has been shot and killed while sitting on his front porch on Detroit’s east side.
The drive-by shooting occurred in the 19900 block of Omira Street on Thursday (July 18) afternoon.
Officials say a blue sedan drove by, and the passenger armed with an AR-style rifle fired multiple shots, hitting the victim.
Police say residents were standing outside, including children at the time of the shooting.
