19-year-old dies in single-car crash on M-10 at I-94

DETROIT – A 19-year-old died in a crash early Thursday morning.

The crash happened at nearly 1 a.m. on Sept. 26 at northbound M-10 near I-94.

Michigan State Police said the driver of the car—a 19-year-old from Battle Creek—lost control of his car, went up the embankment and struck a tree. When troopers arrived at the scene, the 19-year-old was unresponsive with no pulse. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said his family has been notified.
