OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A woman is injured after driving the wrong way on M-59 Sunday night and crashing into another vehicle.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said a 67-year-old woman from Milford was driving eastbound on the westbound lane of M-59 near Milford Road and struck a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old man from Highland Township.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for her non-life-threatening injuries. The sheriff’s office said she was the only person injured in the crash.
Authorities believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
