Secret bathroom camera leads to guilty plea from former Brighton pastor

Former pastor admitted to all 15 charges

BRIGHTON, Mich. – A former pastor in Brighton is pleading guilty to child pornography charges.

This comes after someone found a secret camera in a bathroom at 2 42 Community Church.

William Johnson was fired in September 2024 after the discovery, and he admitted guilt to all 15 charges, including child sexual abuse activity and surveilling an unclothed person.

Johnson is scheduled for sentencing on May 22.
