Saginaw Valley State University launches campus food delivery robots starting next week

Starting next week, students at Saginaw Valley State University will see delivery robots rolling across campus.

The starship robots launch Aug. 25 and are fully integrated with Grubhub.

Students can order through the app, select delivery, and meet their robot at one of more than 85 designated drop-off points.

The bots won’t enter buildings, but clear signage will mark where to pick up orders.

It’s a new, high-tech way to make food runs faster—and a lot more fun.
