Ohio man held on $2M bond in deadly Oakland County motel shooting 1 dead, 1 injured in shooting

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – A 21-year-old man from Cincinnati is being held on a $2 million bond for his alleged role in a deadly shooting in Rochester Hills.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said it started as a fight in the parking lot of Fairfield Inn on Sept. 1 . First responders found one person dead and another expected to survive.
A crash on South Boulevard connected to the shooting did not result in any serious injuries.
On Friday, Sept. 5, Calvin Roger Jones Jr. was charged in an Oakland County courtroom with assault with intent to murder, carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of felony firearm.
