Woman found shot to death in Southfield home; suspect believed to be known to victim Detectives responded to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Police are searching for the suspect who shot and killed a woman in Southfield.
The incident occurred on Sunday (Oct. 5) at 11:39 p.m. in the 18000 block of Bainbridge Drive.
The Southfield Police Department and Southfield Fire & Rescue personnel said officers, upon arrival, located the woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police pronounced the woman deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was known to the woman.
Detectives responded to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
