DETROIT – Detroit police are asking the public for help finding a missing man last seen on Monday.
Syed Akil was last seen leaving his home in the 12300 block of Charest on Oct. 6, 2025. He has not been seen since.
Police said Akil has Schizophrenia.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department 11th precinct at (313) 596-1140.
