TROY, Mich. – A new program aimed at building Michigan’s future workforce is kicking off in Troy.
State leaders and Lift, a national manufacturing innovation institute, are launching “Ignite,” a high-tech curriculum at Troy Athens High School.
The state invested $1 million in the program, providing students with hands-on training in math, science, and problem-solving.
The goal is to close Michigan’s skills gap and help students get a head start on careers in advanced manufacturing.
