Detroit resident finds baby on porch on night of Thanksgiving Baby stable at hospital

DETROIT – A Detroit resident found a baby on their porch the night of Thanksgiving, police said.
The baby was found around 9:50 p.m. Nov. 27, 2025, in the 15300 block of Cruse Street on Detroit’s west side.
Child Protective Services took the baby to a nearby hospital. The baby is stable.
Detroit police are investigating.
