WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – A 25-year-old man from Oakland County has been sentenced for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.
The investigation into Darren Bradford began when the Berkley Department of Public Safety received a tip about Bradford’s frequent interactions with minors, who were reportedly seen visiting his apartment.

Police said they discovered that Bradford was taking the minors to lunch or and allegedly providing them with drugs and alcohol.
According to authorities, Bradford sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in his vehicle in Grosse Pointe Park, leading to a third-degree criminal sexual conduct (minor 13-15) charge being filed against him.
He faces the same charge for an alleged sexual assault in Berkley.
For the Grosse Pointe Park felony, Bradford was sentenced Monday, Dec. 8, to 2-15 years in the Michigan Department of Corrections.
He is to have no unsupervised contact with anyone 17 years old or younger.
