MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. – As many of you know, we send a team to the Mackinac Policy Conference every year in late May. For the most part, it’s an opportunity to catch up with Michigan’s current political heavyweights or those aspiring to be.
For lack of a better phrase, it’s a lot of “inside baseball” in a beautiful locale.

This year will be a little different, with so many races and issues on the ballot, including governor, U.S. senator, Attorney General, and Secretary of State.
That’s why we’re hoping to do more -- dive deeper into the issues and problems facing our state and nail down said politicians on how exactly to do that.
But we want to make sure we’re asking the questions that are important to our viewers.
