4Warn Weather – The severe thunderstorm warning for Lenawee County has expired.
The National Weather Service office in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Lenawee County in southeastern Michigan, in effect until 4:30 p.m. EDT.

At 3:24 p.m., radar indicated a severe thunderstorm located over Clayton, or near Hudson, moving northeast at 35 mph. The storm is capable of producing wind gusts up to 60 mph.
Forecasters warn that these strong winds could cause damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
The storm is expected to reach Adrian and Clayton around 3:30 p.m., Tecumseh by 3:40 p.m., and Clinton Township and Britton around 3:50 p.m. Deerfield could be impacted by 4 p.m.
Other locations in the storm’s path include Manitou Beach–Devils Lake, Macon, Canandaigua, Ridgeway, Palmyra, Tipton, Sand Creek, Rome Center, Medina, and Springville.
Residents are urged to seek shelter immediately. The National Weather Service recommends moving to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
The storm may also produce small hail, with maximum sizes under three-quarters of an inch.
A severe thunderstorm warning indicates that severe weather is occurring or imminent. People in the affected area should take precautions to protect life and property.
