Showers are pushing out of Southeast Michigan early this morning, and conditions should be mainly dry by daybreak. A few lingering showers may be possible early, but most of the region will quickly transition to drier weather. There is only a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm today, mainly near the Ohio state line. Most locations will remain dry, with temperatures topping out around 80 degrees.
Dry weather continues through Thursday, with highs remaining close to 80 and seasonable conditions expected across Metro Detroit.

The weather pattern turns wetter Friday night as showers and thunderstorms return. Rain chances increase Saturday, when the highest coverage of showers and storms is expected. Some storms could produce locally heavy rainfall, so outdoor plans may need to remain flexible. Showers and thunderstorms should taper off Saturday night, followed by drier weather Sunday. Temperatures will remain comfortable, with highs close to 80 degrees continuing into early next week.
