The No. 1-seeded Detroit Pistons’ playoff run ended Sunday at Little Caesars Arena with a 125-94 loss to the No. 4 Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 7.
Cleveland took control early, outscoring Detroit 31-22 in the first quarter and building the lead to 20 in the second.

The Pistons trailed 64-47 at halftime after struggling to find an offensive rhythm. Detroit shot 38.1% in the first half while Cleveland hit 52.4%. The Pistons had 10 assists compared with the Cavaliers’ 18.
Cleveland carried that momentum into the second half, leading 99-73 after three quarters. The Cavaliers pushed the lead to 35 points in the fourth, the largest advantage of the game.
It marked Detroit’s deepest postseason run since 2008, when the Pistons advanced to the Eastern Conference finals.
