Police release sketch of person of interest in Farmington Hills park murder

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Police have released a sketch of a person of interest in the murder at a Farmington Hills park.

Richard Alan Harris, 65, was found dead on a trail in Woodland Hills Park at around 4 p.m. on May 3. Investigators confirmed his death as a homicide.

As the investigation continues, police released a sketch on May 20 of a person of interest, who was reportedly seen by several witnesses at the park the day the murder happened.

Witnesses described the person of interest as a man, 20 to 30 years old, of average height with a slender build, black hair, a scruffy beard and olive-toned skin.

Police said some witnesses saw the man in the park before Harris was there, and others placed him near Harris.
