4Warn Weather – The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac issued a severe thunderstorm warning Friday evening for parts of southeastern Macomb and St. Clair counties.
The warning remained in effect until 6:30 p.m. EDT.

At 6:12 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near St. Clair Shores and was moving east at 25 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm was capable of producing quarter-size hail, with radar indicating hail up to one inch in diameter. Officials warned that the hail could damage vehicles.
The storm was expected to remain mainly over rural areas of southeastern Macomb and southeastern St. Clair counties, including Pearl Beach, Roseville, and Fraser.
Wind gusts were expected to remain below 50 mph, according to radar estimates.
The National Weather Service advised residents in the warning area to seek shelter by moving to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
Officials urged people to continue monitoring weather updates as conditions could change quickly.
