The pills were identified as Acetaminophen and Oxycodone Hydrochloride, a Schedule 2 controlled substance, for which Sorrell did not have a valid prescription.
Sorrell was also charged for being a habitual offender - third offense, which will be dropped at his sentencing as part of the plea agreement, court documents show.
The felony drug warrant stems from his January 2025 arrest in Sterling Heights for driving without a license.
Sorrell is scheduled to be sentenced at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 20. Possession of a controlled substance less than 25 grams carries a maximum sentence of four years in prison.
