AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Two men used hammers to smash displays and steal jewelry from a diamond store inside Great Lakes Crossing, now police want help finding them.
Auburn Hills Police were dispatched Helzberg Diamond Outlet store inside the mall for a smash-and-grab at around 7:30 p.m. on July 13.

Allegedly after stealing the jewelry, the two men fled on foot.
According to police the suspects did not assault or threaten any employees during the theft, and exited the mall through entry/exit six.
Police say upon arrival they were unable to locate the two men.
Police Suspect Description
Auburn Hills Police have described the two suspects as African American males, 18-25 years of age, with similar heights of approximately 5’8” and thin builds.
Police say one suspect was wearing a dark-colored thin coat, white shirt, light-colored blue jeans, and dark-colored shoes.
Police say the second suspect was wearing a light gray hoodie, orange shorts, and white shoes, and was carrying a camouflage backpack.
Auburn Hills Police Detectives are actively working to identify the two suspects.
