Person critically injured after assault on Detroit’s east side Suspect not arrested
DETROIT – A person is critically injured after an assault on Detroit’s east side early Thursday morning.
The assault happened in the 14000 block of Kercheval Avenue just before 6 a.m. on July 23.
According to Detroit police, a suspect struck the person with an unknown object before leaving the scene.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
