DETROIT – Detroit police are asking for the public’s help identifying a red 2006-2010 Chrysler 300 wanted in connection with a critical hit-and-run crash on the city’s east side.
The crash occurred on Thursday (Aug. 6) around 5:20 p.m. at Westphalia Street and Linnhurst Street.
According to police, the Chrysler was traveling northbound on Westphalia Street when the driver disregarded a stop sign and struck the victim before fleeing the scene.
Police said the Chrysler has front-end damage, a missing fog light cover, and extensive undercarriage damage.
The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on Eastwood Street from Westphalia Street.
The vehicle did not have a license plate, police said.
