🚧 Traffic: WB I-94 to close for bridge work in Detroit

Westbound I-94 will close in Detroit this weekend for bridge work between I-75 and Michigan Avenue. The closure will begin at 9 p.m. Friday. All lanes will reopen by 10 a.m. Sunday. More info on the project here.

Rare full moon to move across sky this weekend 🌕

What's spookier than a rare full moon on Friday the 13? Just about nothing. A rare harvest moon will show itself Friday and Saturday nights. It is technically just like any other full moon, but because it happens close to an autumn equinox, it has special characteristics. It has a powerful mystique, appearing bigger and brighter or more orange. 

American Cycling League launch at Detroit's Lexus Velodrome 🚴

It's a battle of the sexes this weekend as the top international male and female cyclists square off and help launch the American Cycling Federation League at the Lexus Velodrome in Detroit.
