2019 NBA free agency: Recent updates, trades and more

NBA free agency has been interesting this year, here are the most notable and recent updates, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and the Stadium's Shams Charania:

  • Kevin Durant is planning to sign with the Brooklyn Nets, along with Kyrie Irving, Deandre Jordan and Garrett Temple.
  • Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are joining forces together on the Los Angeles Clippers. 
  • The Miami Heat are finalizing a sign-and-trade with the Philadelphia 76ers that would send Jimmy Butler to Miami and Josh Richardson to the 76ers. 
  • The Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard signed a four-year, $196M super maximum contract extension. 
  • Oklahoma Thunder traded Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets for Chris Paul and first round picks in 2024 and 2026. 
  • Klay Thompson agreed to a five-year, $190 million max deal with the Golden State Warriors. 
  • Al Horford agreed to a four-year, $109M deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. 
  • Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez both signed deals keeping them with the Milwaukee Bucks.
  • JJ Redick agreed to a two-year, $141M deal with the New Orleans Pelicans. 
  • Bradley Beal agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $111 million with the Washington Wizards
  • Danny Green agreed to a two-year, $30 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. 
  • Kemba Walker agreed to sign a four-year, $141M maximum contract with the Boston Celtics.
  • Ben Simmons has agreed to a five-year $170 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. 
  • Alex Caruso agreed to a two-year, $5.5 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

  • Isaiah Thomas agrees to a one-year contract with the Washington Wizards.

  • Javale McGee agreed to a two-year, $8.2 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. 
  • The Brooklyn Nets and the Golden State Warriors have agreed to a sign and trade which would send Brooklyn guard D'Angelo Russell to the Warriors on a four year $117M maximum contract. 
  • The Golden State Warriors plan to trade Andre Iguodala to the Memphis Grizzlies. 
  • The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to re-sign Patrick Beverly to three-year, $40 million deal. 
  • Jakarr Sampson agreed to a one-year veterans minimum from the Indiana Pacers.

  • Frank Mason III has agreed to a two-way contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. 
  • Cheick Diallo agreed to a two-year deal with the Phoenix Suns.
