Detroit Tigers pitcher Troy Melton to meet fans, sign autographs at Somerset Collection

Melton is in his second major league season and has established himself as a member of the starting rotation

TROY, Mich. – Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Troy Melton will meet fans and sign autographs during a public appearance at The Detroit Shoppe at Somerset Collection.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Detroit Shop on Level 3 of Somerset Collection North, 2800 W. Big Beaver Road in Troy.

Tickets are required to participate in the autograph signing. The event is presented by The Detroit Shoppe in partnership with The Autograph Guy and Wilder Side of Sports.

Melton is in his second major league season and has established himself as a member of the Tigers’ starting rotation.

Through 13 starts in the 2026 season, Melton has posted a 7-1 record with a 1.46 ERA, 69 strikeouts and a 0.90 WHIP over 80 innings.

The Tigers selected Melton in the fourth round of the 2022 MLB draft out of San Diego State.

He made his major league debut in July 2025 and appeared three times for Detroit during its American League Division Series postseason run.

Melton entered the 2026 season as one of the Tigers’ young pitching prospects and has continued to establish himself as a starter.
