Michigan basketball forward Moussa Diabate will forgo his remaining college eligibility and stay in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Former star Ypsilanti high schooler and current No. 1-ranked transfer player Emoni Bates recently entered the transfer portal, where he named the Michigan Wolverines one of his top six destinations ahead of the 2022 college basketball season.

Dickinson entered the draft and withdrew his name last year after being named the Big Ten freshman of the year and a second-team All-American in 2021.

Freshman Frankie Collins provided the spark Michigan needed in a turbulent year for the Wolverines and coach Juwan Howard.

Hunter Dickinson scored a career-high 33 points on 13-of-19 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds to help Michigan beat Michigan State 87-70.

Kofi Cockburn scored 27 points and Alfonso Plummer had 26, helping No. 15 Illinois beat Michigan 93-85.

Caleb Houstan scored 13 of his career-high 21 points in the second half when Michigan pulled away to beat Rutgers 71-62 without head coach Juwan Howard, who was serving the first of a five-game suspension.

Hunter Dickinson had 22 points to lead Michigan in a lopsided 82-58 win over No. 3 Purdue.

From preseason No. 6 to the wrong side of the bubble, the last three months have proven difficult for the Michigan basketball program.

Jaden Ivey scored 23 points and Trevion Williams added 19 to lead No. 4 Purdue to an 82-76 victory over Michigan.

Max Christie scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half and Malik Hall finished with 15 points, leading No. 10 Michigan State to an 83-67 win over Michigan.
