Suspect in Ohio triple homicide dies in Michigan following shootout with police
DETROIT -- A 55-year-old man wanted in connection with a triple homicide in Ohio has died after being shot by police last week. According to the Associated Press, Chandra Moore, died Friday March 5, after being shot on Monday, March 1 outside of the Rivertown Inn and Suites in Detroit. Moore was wanted in Cincinnati in connection with the deaths of his estranged wife, Brittany Wagoner, 28, and two men: Timothy Dugar, 33, and Andrew Wesley, 35, according to the AP. Detroit Police Chief James Craig said officers were watching the motel in hopes of finding Moore, who eventually emerged from a motel room and began firing at police. Officers returned fire, striking Moore who never recovered from his injuries suffered in the shooting.
