During a Monday speech in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Pence talked about jobs, the economy and efforts to manufacture a safe vaccine for the coronavirus. Pence also spoke about the race to create an effective vaccine for the coronavirus. ___12:30 p.m.Joe Biden is willing to take a coronavirus vaccine as long as scientists say its OK. But he said he would like to see a vaccine tomorrow, even if if would cost him the election by helping President Donald Trump.

His first stop of the day was in Lancaster, for a backyard round-table discussion with union members, who are also military veterans. Bidens trip to Pennsylvania is to focus on the states workforce and issues facing working families. Biden also traveled to Harrisburg, where he will meet with the president of the AFL-CIO and hold a virtual question and answer session with union members. 2 killed, 8 injured in bar shooting near Lancaster, South Carolina
Two people died and eight were injured in a shooting that took place at a bar in Lancaster, South Carolina, according to Lancaster Sheriff's Office. The shooting happened at the Ole Skool sports bar just outside the city of Lancaster around 2:45 a.m. ET, the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office said. Many people were in the bar when the shooting happened, sheriff's office spokesman Doug Barfield said. A separate person was injured by falling at the bar; that person was treated at a medical facility and released, the sheriff's office said.
Los Angeles Deputy Allegedly Made Up Being Shot by Sniper Outside Station
A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputy could be fired and charged after making up an attack, calling in on his radio that he has been shot by a sniper, police said. Deputy Angel Reinosa, 21, was walking out of his station in Lancaster to the parking lot Wednesday afternoon when he radioed that he had taken on fire. I have taken shots from the north of the Lancaster helipad, Reinosa said over the emergency line, according to ABC 7. Kent Wegener told reporters. The Lancaster station tweeted that is was "saddened by the outcome of the investigation" and that "one individual doesnt represent who we are."

LANCASTER, Calif. - The sheriff's deputy at the center of what was described as a sniper shooting admitted that he made it all up, authorities said. "There was no sniper, no shots fired and no gunshot injuries sustained to his shoulder," Los Angeles County Sheriff's (LASD) Homicide Bureau Capt. Deputy Angel Reinosa, 21, had previously said he was shot while walking to his personal car outside of the sheriff's station in Lancaster, California, Wednesday. The mayor described the shooter as a sniper.

Authorities are searching for a gunman who shot and wounded a deputy in Lancaster, California. LANCASTER, Calif. - A deputy was wounded Wednesday when a possible sniper took aim at the Lancaster station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, authorities said. The bullet came from a four-story building and hit the deputy in the chest while he was in the parking lot, Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris said. "It's a difficult tactical situation," Parris said. Lancaster city has a population of about 170,000 and is an hour north of Los Angeles.
