VIDEO: Man breaks into car, steals steering column on Detroitโs east side
DETROIT โ Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a theft from an automobile that took place Jan. 13. According to authorities, just before 9:45 a.m., an unknown man broke into a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu that was parked near the intersection of St. Aubin and Erskine streets. Police said he stole the steering column, which also included the airbag before leaving in a white Chevrolet Impala. Foot of snow blankets parts of Midwest, disrupts travel
A major winter storm dumped more than a foot of snow on parts of the middle of the country stretching from central Kansas northeast to Chicago and southern Michigan. In Wisconsin, the weather service predicted up to 10 inches (25.4 centimeters) of snow could fall in the Milwaukee area, with the highest totals along Lake Michigan. In the Southwest, more than a foot of snow fell in the mountains of Southern California, Nevada and Arizona. At lake level, the weather service expects 2 to 4 feet (61-122 centimeters) of snow with winds gusting to 50 mph (80 kph).

DETROIT โ A tragedy involved an 8-year-old girl, who was walking on the sidewalk with her mother when a car hit and killed her. Owens is replaying the horrific details of a crash that killed 8-year-old Lauren Johnson Sunday afternoon at about 3:40 p.m. on Conner Street. โShe (the driver) was coming from the corner, she almost hit my niece at the corner, came flying. โPeople fly up and down this street with no regards to life,โ said Denice Hinson, who also witnessed the incident. You took an 8-year-old life and nobody can bring that baby back.

Kevin Hart Reportedly Suffers 'Major Back Injuries' in California Car Crash
Comedian Kevin Hart has reportedly suffered some series injuries after his vintage car crashed into a ditch in Malibu early Sunday. The driver reportedly lost control and veered off the road, crashing through a wooden fence and coming to a stop in a ditch. The driver and another passenger in the car became trapped inside the vehicle, police said. Photos of the scene obtained by TMZ showed Hart's blue car mangled on the side of the road. Hart and the driver suffered "major back injuries," police said," and were taken to nearby hospitals.
