NBA fines Meyers Leonard $50,000 for anti-Semitic slur

Commissioner Adam Silver, in announcing those sanctions Thursday, also said that he believes Leonard โis genuinely remorsefulโ for using the slur. โMeyers Leonardโs comment was inexcusable and hurtful and such an offensive term has no place in the NBA or in our society,โ Silver said.
Car crashes into lobby of Baymont Motel in Royal Oak Township
ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. - An investigation is underway after a car crashed into the Baymont Motel in Royal Oak township early Monday morning. Michigan State Police investigators were at the motel on 8 Mile Road near Meyers Road. The vehicle smashed into the lobby. It's unclear if anyone was hurt.
