A kickoff time and TV designation for the annual Michigan-Ohio State football rivalry is set, and they should come as no surprise to those who follow it closely. The Wolverines and Buckeyes will play at noon ET on Saturday, Nov. 26, a game scheduled for Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, the Michigan football program announced Monday evening. The announcement comes as the Big Ten’s current TV and multi-media rights agreement enters its final season with FOX and Disney-owned ESPN and ABC networks. Also today, FanDuel Sportsbook released early point spreads for some of the marquee college football games on the schedule this fall, including Michigan-Ohio State.

It’s been more than two weeks since Michigan football earned its first win over Ohio State in nearly a decade, and the Ohio State fan base is still in full meltdown mode.

The Michigan Wolverines clinched the Big Ten East and a spot in the Big Ten title game next weekend with a huge win over the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday in Ann Arbor.

The Michigan-Ohio State game always brings thousands of alumni back to their old college stomping grounds, and in some cases, enemy territory.

ANN ARBOR – Michigan football players aren’t interested in dwelling on the past. Another chapter of the Michigan-Ohio State series will be written Saturday, and the Wolverines are hoping to change the recent narrative of the rivalry. The second-ranked Buckeyes (10-1, 8-0 Big Ten) are riding an eight-game win streak against the Wolverines (10-1, 7-1) heading into Saturday’s game in Ann Arbor – a streak that isn’t lost on Michigan players. But that’s the past, and none of that matters. “That’s the game we always have circled on our calendar and always want to play, and as a Michigan Wolverine, that’s a game you’d die for.

As if Saturday’s game wasn’t big enough — ESPN just announced plans to take “College GameDay” on the road to Michigan. The popular cable sports network will stage its three-hour Saturday morning tailgate show in Ann Arbor ahead of Saturday’s Michigan-Ohio State showdown (noon, FOX). Meanwhile, Ohio State (10-1, 8-0 Big Ten) moved up to second after a convincing 56-7 win over the Spartans Saturday. This will be GameDay’s first live broadcast in Ann Arbor since Oct. 13, 2018, when the show was in town for Michigan’s win over Wisconsin. The crew was in attendance for the Michigan-Ohio State game in 2019 in Columbus.

The stakes are high for this year's version of The Game.

If there was growing optimism over the status of Saturday’s Michigan-Ohio State game being played, consider that dampened. The Wolverines plan to continue “limited workouts” on Tuesday, a team spokesman said, and canceled a scheduled press conference with head coach Jim Harbaugh and players. The lack of progress and willingness to provide specifics puts Saturday’s game in Columbus (noon, FOX) further in doubt. Meanwhile, the uncertainty surrounding the game has been overshadowed in recent days by the uncertain future of Harbaugh at Michigan.
