Mother killed, 10-year-old son wounded in southwest Detroit double shooting
DETROIT – On Tuesday afternoon a 44-year-old woman was fatally shot while in a vehicle with her 10-year-old son who was injured and survived. The mother was visiting from Ohio when the shooting happened. “Everything you would want in a friend and family member, that was her,” said a relative of the mother. 43-year-old injured by unknown shooter in Detroit
DETROIT – Police are searching for an unknown shooter who injured a 43-year-old man on Saturday, Oct. 25 during a shooting. The shooting happened around 6:50 p.m. in the 14300 block of Maddelein Street in Detroit. Police say the victim was getting out of his car when shots were fired by the shooter from the inside of an unknown vehicle. The victim suffered a grazed wound and was released at the scene by medics. DETROIT – Detroit Police Chief James Craig held a press conference Friday in response to an officer-involved shooting that drew large crowds of protesters. Video of the shooting shown at the press conference showed Littleton was armed with a 25 caliber blue steel semi automatic pistol. The footage showed him firing at officers. 51-year-old man found fatally shot inside Detroit home
DETROIT Police say a 51-year-old man was fatally shot Friday shortly after 9 a.m. inside a home in the 5500 block of Cadieux in Detroit.
