‘That’s a lot of cat food,’ Bronner’s Hot Shot Local Media Celebrity Archery Contest first place winner says
FRANKENMUTH, MI - Toy arrows flew through the air at Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland to hit a heart-shaped target as local media celebrities competed for the most points in the Hot Shot Local Media Celebrity Archery Contest on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023. While this was an annual event, this is the first year it has been back since 2020. Bronner’s pledged to donate $1,400 to first place, $500 for two runners-up while the rest of the competitors received $250 for their preferred nonprofits. Lounsbury took second place, sending $500 to The Great Start Tuscola Imagination Library and Burke took third place, sending $500 to The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. The rest of the charities, Youth Haven, Cerebral Palsy Foundation, and Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum, will all receive $250.

The Morawski family has three children: Addy, 11; Will, 8; and Jack, 4. “The Child” was a hit with the Morawski family. The Basil family really took to this toy. The Morawski family really enjoyed watching that happen and seeing which puppy would reveal itself. They really liked the all-surface vehicle that could move across the floor on its own.

Livonia set to elect first female mayor after primary narrows candidates down to 2 women
LIVONIA, Mich. - The city of Livonia will have a female mayor for the first time. Tuesday's primary narrowed the candidates to two women, Laura Toy and Maureen Miller Brosnan. I am the youngest person to ever serve on the Livonia City Council," Miller Brosnan said. "I am really, really good at engaging people around a central idea and able to advance creative ideas," Miller Brosnan said. Miller Brosnan has been endorsed by the Livonia Police Officers Association and the Livonia Lieutenants and Sergeant's Association.
