Green Beret pleads not guilty in deadly bowling alley attack
Duke Webb, of Shalimar, Florida, appeared in court via video from the jail in Winnebago County, Illinois, where he is being held without bond, the Rockford Register Star reported. Webb, 37, is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder in the Dec. 26 attack at Don Carter Lanes in Rockford. Prosecutors say he killed 69-year-old Jerome Woodfork and 73-year-old Dennis Steinhoff, both of Rockford, and 65-year-old Thomas Furseth, of Machesney Park. AdAuthorities said the attack seemed to be a random act of violence and an attorney for Webb, Elizabeth Bucko, has said the Green Beret may suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. According to Army service information, Webb was deployed to Afghanistan four times.
43-year-old Detroit man missing for days
DETROIT โ Police are searching for a missing 43-year-old man named Vincent Laird who was last seen in the 18900 block of San Juan in Detroit on Monday, Oct. 5. He has not been seen or heard from by family members since then. He has a dark complexion, is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, has short hair and no facial hair. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time. Detroit police seek missing 69-year-old man
DETROIT โ Police are searching for a missing 69-year-old man named Burley Davis Jr. who was last seen in the 1200 block of Webb in Detroit on Thursday, Oct. 8. He has not been seen or heard from by family members since then. Davis is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. Davis might be wearing a red jacket, tan shirt, Khaki pants and dark color shoes and possibly driving a black 1991 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition. READ MORE: Missing in Michigan reports
