‘A grief that doesn’t go away’: What happened to Kellie Brownlee?

Kellie Marie Brownlee, a 17-year-old, disappeared on May 20, 1982, after she was last seen at Twelve Oaks Mall in Michigan, where she had gone to apply for jobs. Despite more than four decades passing, her family and friends, especially her friend Carrie Oswald, continue to seek answers and closure. Authorities have investigated possible links to suspected serial killer Arthur Ream, but Carrie does not believe he was involved.
