‘She’s lost a lot of blood’: Mom shot in front of her son in Oakland County carjacking survives

A woman in her 40s was seriously injured after being shot during a carjacking in front of her young son at the Baldwin Commons shopping plaza in Orion Township. The suspect, a 25-year-old Ann Arbor man with a violent criminal history, reportedly waited in the parking lot before targeting the victims and fleeing in the stolen vehicle.
