Sunshine, dry weather return this week in Metro Detroit -- here’s what to expect

Tuesday highs in upper 50s; Wednesday highs in lower 50s

Sunshine returns Thursday with quiet, dry weather. We will still be above our normal high of 42, but 48 might still feel chilly to you based on where temps have been lately. (WDIV)

4Warn Weather – The sun is trying so hard to get through the clouds Wednesday but with little or no success.

Skies clear a bit overnight, with our lows dropping back down into the 30s.

Thursday

Sunshine returns Thursday with quiet, dry weather. We will still be above our normal high of 42, but 48 might still feel chilly to you based on where temps have been lately.

Friday

Friday skies will be dry and a touch warmer during the day. But in the evening, sometime after sunset, rain will develop. This rain will continue into the first half of the weekend. Gusty winds will also put an added chill in the air, especially on Sunday. We will talk more about the weekend forecast today at 11 p.m.
