Saturday

The real break in the current weather pattern comes on Saturday. Clouds will decrease, leaving the area with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will peak in the lower 50s. At night, it will be mostly clear and cold, with lows around 30 degrees.

Sunday

Monday

Monday, we will have a chance to see the solar eclipse, but will we see it? The moon will probably not be the only thing blocking some of the sunlight from us. Expect highs around 60 degrees.

The eclipse will begin just before 2 p.m. in Southeast Michigan and end at about 4:27 p.m. The maximum coverage will be about 3:12 p.m. to 3:14 p.m. Be sure to take precautions when viewing, such as wearing certified solar eclipse glasses.

Temperatures will reach the mid-60s by Tuesday. Expect more rain chances on Wednesday and Thursday.

Average highs through the weekend are 54 to 55 degrees, and the average lows are 35 to 36 degrees.
