4Warn Weather – A couple of isolated showers developed Friday afternoon in Bad Axe, but otherwise it’s been a pretty pleasant end to the work week.
Overnight, expect skies to be mostly clear, perfect for viewing the Sturgeon Moon Friday and Saturday night around sunset.
Peak full moon will be at 3:55 a.m. on Aug. 9.
A warm weekend ahead with sunshine both Saturday and Sunday.
The high temperatures on Saturday and Sunday are expected to be 91°F and 93°F, respectively.
However, the humidity on Sunday is expected to be significantly higher, resulting in a heat index of around 97 degrees.
Hot and humid conditions are expected for most of next week, with highs in the 80s and heat indices in the upper 90s.
