After one round of accumulating snow Friday afternoon into Friday evening, most of us are waking up to more snow on Saturday morning, and we are going to keep the winter weather in the forecast, looking ahead into the weekend.

Snow showers can be expected to continue throughout the day on Saturday, especially in the first half of the day. But a few slow showers could be possible in our northern tier of communities north of I-69 from Saturday afternoon and into Saturday evening. High temperatures into the low 30s Saturday morning will fall for the majority of the day, and we will be into the low 20s by late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.

We will keep the cloud cover in the forecast overnight Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Before our next round of snow moves into the forecast Sunday evening, through the overnight, and into the first part of the day on Monday. This round of snow could bring another accumulation of a few inches to the forecast by late Monday morning. High temperatures dropping into the lower 20s by Sunday afternoon.

Once the snow moves out of the region, Monday morning, cloud cover sticks around the rest of the day, and we bring a bitterly cold air mass into the forecast, looking ahead into the start of next week. High temperature is only making it into the mid to upper teens on Monday, then dropping into the low end of the single digits to nearest 0° overnight Monday night, early on Tuesday morning. Once you factor in the breezy winds, we are expecting wind chill temperatures to drop as low as -15° to -20° by early Tuesday morning.

We will remain dry as we work throughout the day on Tuesday. High temperatures are making it end of the low to mid-teens before dropping back into the low end of the single digits overnight Tuesday night into early on Wednesday morning.

No chances returned to the forecast, looking into the middle of the week on Wednesday, and we keep the chances for snow under the forecast, looking into the end of next week. Temperatures start to warm a little bit, high temperatures in the mid to upper 20s on Wednesday and Thursday, will drop back into the low 20s by the end of the week on Friday.
