4Warn Weather – The Great Lakes region will turn cooler and much less humid today on the backside of a cold front.
Winds have shifted to the north, bringing in colder air. Highs today will remain in the low to mid 60s under mostly cloudy skies, and those further north and east will stay in the 50s. Our normal high is 72°.
A bit of drizzle can’t be ruled out but most will stay dry.
Tonight temperatures will be around ten-plus degrees below normal, in the upper 30s to low 40s.
Clouds will decrease, giving way to some sunshine Thursday. Highs tomorrow will only be in the lower 60s before we go back to the mid 60s Friday.
Friday brings the next chance of rain. We look to see showers Friday evening, continuing into Saturday. The first half of the weekend in particular looks to be rainy, with the chance of storms, so if you’re traveling you may want to leave earlier Friday or allow a little extra time Saturday.
Afternoon temperatures Saturday will make it back to around 70° before hitting the mid 70s Sunday and Monday.
Scattered rain chances will remain Sunday and Monday, Memorial Day. This is still days away and may change, but for now you might want to plan a few inside activities and have an umbrella handy for the weekend.
