Sunsets will continue to be later into early July, when the sunset time will be 9:13 p.m.

We start seeing earlier sunsets on July 4th, losing less than a minute or so of daylight a day to begin the month. By the end of July, we’re losing around 2 minutes of daylight per day.

The last 9 p.m. sunset for this Summer will be on July 24th, with the sun setting at 8:59 p.m. July 25th.

In regards to the sun coming up, our current sunrise time is 6:02 a.m. The sunrise will be at 6 a.m. or earlier throughout the month of June before starting to become later in July.

Luckily we’ll see plenty of sun in the near forecast.

While the best moisture and rain chances will be well to our south today, Southeast Michigan has an isolated shower and non-severe thunderstorm chance this evening.
