Take a ride on Michigan's only water-based mobile pub: The Detroit Cycle Boat

DETROIT – You've seen the street pedal pubs rolling around Detroit for a couple of years - but it's time for something new.

The Detroit Cycle Boat is Michigan's first and only pedal powered pub boat, and it rides the Detroit River.

The boat carries 16 passengers, priced at $450 for a group. All tours start and end Sindbads Restaurant and Marina.

Here are some ground rules for the pedal boat:

How long is the experience? They do 2 HOUR CRUISES!

How many passengers? They can fit up to 16 PEOPLE ON BOARD. Perfect for PARTIES and TEAM BUILDING!

Is it hard to pedal? NOT AT ALL! They have 10 pedal stations, a large bench seat, and room to walk around. You can even take turns pedaling!

Can you bring your own drinks and snacks? Absolutely, bring whatever you'd like!

Do you make any stops? They have a designated 15 minute HALFWAY STOP when dockage is available (99% of time) for: Bathrooms, Food, and Beverage.

Who provides the ice? They have plenty of COOLER SPACE! You provide the ice and cups! Souvenir cups all be available for purchase on board to enjoy your beverage!
