Hi! Jay here. You know, sometimes things are happening around Detroit that may surprise you. This one surprised me. I’m a movie lover and have been all my life. Whenever I get a chance, it’s always one of the things I love to do. So, imagine my surprise when I found out that right now, you can see costumes from some famous Hollywood films, and all you have to do is take a drive to the Somerset Collection.
Right now, they have an exhibit on display called “Cinematic Couture.” This is made up of more than 40 costumes worn by some of the biggest stars in iconic movies. Want to see a costume Johnny Depp wore in “Pirates of the Caribbean?” They have that. How about something worn by Meryl Streep, Julie Andrews, or Robert Downey, Jr.? They have that, too. More than 40 costumes in all are on display, and you can see them now for free through the end of the month.

Here’s a look at what else is planned.
