Lockdown lifted at Detroit schools after situation involving 'multiple armed suspects' Residents asked to avoid area
Police say multiple people are armed near Duchess and Moross on Detroit's east side. (WDIV)
DETROIT – Police were called to the scene of a barricade situation Thursday on Detroit's east side.
Officials said multiple armed people were believed to be in the area of Duchess Street and Moross Road.
UPDATE : 6 in custody after barricade situation on Detroit's east side
Denby High School and Carleton Elementary School were on lockdown, but it has since been lifted.
Residents were asked to avoid the area.
